The efforts of the students involved in the Malta Local History Project are not meant to project complete exactness of facts or the perfect example of grammatical accuracy. Rather it is a project meant to of course attempt those ideals, but more importantly to encourage our students to explore their community, to investigate their local history, interact with older citizens, and to above all, learn to cherish the record and uniqueness of the place they call home.
