Greetings to the community of Malta.

I am very excited to be part of the Malta School District and I look forward to working with our students, their families, and our teachers. Growth, personal development and positive change are my interest areas and I hope to bring that mindset to the community of Malta. Everything I have experience so far tells me we will have an outstanding experience for the 2023-24 school year.

First, you might need to know a little about me. I was born and raised in Tomahawk, WI and attended college at the University of Minnesota at Mankato where I met my wife. I’m a father of four great kids and a new grandpa. My career in education started in McKinney Texas, where I taught 4 th grade for three years and then moved back to Minnesota and taught for 16 years an the majority of those years as a 5 th grade teacher in the Cambridge-Isanti School District. I coached Middle school football, wrestling and baseball. I moved into the administrative side of education as an Elementary principal and later Superintendent and High School Principal with the Lemmon School District in Lemmon, SD. This year, I start my 27 th year in education. Being an educator is the greatest job ever and I still remain excited, despite the difficulties.
