Recently, members of the MHS Track and Field team recognized and thanked Frances Demarais. For years, Frances has donated countless hours pulling weeds, raking leaves, and other odd jobs in an effort to keep Murray Field in great shape for our students, our school and our town. She has done all of this without fanfare or attention. We wanted her to know that it hasn't gone unnoticed and that we appreciate all that she does.
With the help of her daughter-in-law Mardy Demarais, we asked Frances to come to the school, so our students could meet the person who keeps their field in such great shape and thank her for her time. Additionally, Frances now has a new Mustang and M-ette Jacket to show our appreciation and her school spirit.
Thank you Frances for all that you have done and continue to do for Malta High School students and student athletes.
