Congratulations to the M-ette basketball team on a successful season. Our girls concluded the season with a district championship, divisional championship and a state semi-final appearance. We are incredibly proud of your hard work and determination. Thank you Seniors for your leadership and years of dedication. You have made a lasting impact on our community. MALTA HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ANNOUNCEMENT:

Ms. Hubers Biology class had a video conference today with Jenifer Obrigewitch who is a Research Scientist at a BioTech Lab in Boston (and daughter of Mrs. Crasco). They discussed genetic research and its uses in medicine, specifically cancer research. We want to thank her for her time.

We are excited to have Missoula Children's Theater back in Malta this year. It will take place March 18th-23rd and will have two performances. Please look at the picture for additional information. This is open to K-8 students!

In order to accommodate the fans, parents, students, and staff who plan to attend the State BB Tournament, there will be no school on March 7-8. Congratulations to the M-ettes for qualifying for the State BB Tournament. #MightyMalta

Malta High School is partnering with Phillips County Prevention to sponsor "The Dangerous Truth About Today's Marijuana" by Laura Stack, Founder of Johnny's Ambassadors. There will be an evening session for adults, March 18, 6:00 PM in the HS Auditorium. A free dinner will be provided at 5:00 PM in the HS Cafeteria. Please see the attached flyer and mark the date on your calendar. We hope you can attend.

The Malta Elementary Science Fair will be held on March 25, 2024. Please have the sign-up papers handed in by this Friday, March 1st. Thank you!

Thank you to Big Flat Electric for presenting to students on electrical safety. The students enjoyed the presentation!

Thank you to the crew at Equity Co-Op for coming in yesterday and serving breakfast. This community outreach program has been awesome for our students and community!

Tomorrow, 2/22/24, will be a regular 3:30 pm dismissal. There is no school Friday, the 23rd, or Monday, the 26th!

The collaboration between High school and Elementary students this school year has been awesome! Thank you to FCCLA students for coming over and reading to elementary students during I Love To Read Month!

Thank you to Mark Mindt for presenting to students about topics like attendance, presence, and building connections. He was able to go into each classroom and work with each grade level on different writing activities and imaginative art! It was a great day at MES!

This week is the Annual FFA Week. They will be serving their Annual FFA Breakfast on Feb. 20 from 6:30 AM-8:00 AM in the Cafeteria. Other activities are attached:

2024 2B District Champions! Last night, our M-ettes grabbed their 25th 2B District title, while the Mustangs snagged their 10th 2B District title. Congratulations to our teams as they continue to display an amazing tradition of excellence. The Mustangs will compete at the Northern B Division Tournament held in Malta, starting this Thursday. They will be taking on Chinook at 6:30 PM in the High School Gymnasium. The M-ettes will travel to Conrad to compete in the Northern B Division Tournament, starting on February 29th. They will be taking on Shelby at 7:30 PM in the Conrad High School Gymnasium. #GoBigBlue
